„Przyszli do mnie wiosną 2016 roku. Jak zapowiedział Lech, „będą w Zakopanem przez chwilę po plenerze w Chochołowskiej, w drodze do Warszawy”. To mnie zastanowiło…„przez chwilę” – a więc Zakopane nie jest ich punktem docelowym, „po plenerze w Chochołowskiej” – a więc nie dość, że lubią góry, to jeszcze w nich tworzą. Przyszli i pokazali swoje prace. Długo nie musieli mnie przekonywać, bo były bardzo interesujące i niezwykłe ‒ malowane metodą tuszu chińskiego. Z czymś takim nigdy w malarstwie tatrzańskim się nie spotkałam. (…)
Nie są to prace tworzone naprędce, tak by jak najszybciej przygotować materiał na wystawę i zająć się kolejnymi projektami i wyzwaniami. To prace, które powstawały w rytm przyrody, w rytm kroków wędrującego po górach, w rytm wiatru halnego i deszczu.”

They came to me in spring of 2016. Lech foretold me that they will be in Zakopane only for a momment, just after their art expedition in High Tatras. That made me think…Zakopane just for a momment? Then, I have realised that Zakopanae was not their destination and they wanted to spend every precious minute painting in Tatras. So, they not only love mountains, but also paint being there.
Then they came and have shown their work asking me for an exhibition in Zakopane Muzeum. They did not need to convince me. The paintings were not only interesting but also unusual – created with chineese ink. I must say that I have not seen anything like that in rich choice of mountain art so far.
There were not works created with hast to prepare contend for an exhibition. There were works that came with rythm of the nature, with rythm of mountain traveller steps, with rythm of „halny” wind and soaking rain
